Viseon Bus GmbH - Pilsting in Lower Bavaria is the home of Viseon - a location steeped in tradition. After the takeover of the former Eicher tractor works by Gottlob Auwärter GmbH & Co. KG in 1973, Konrad Auwärter developed the factory into one of the most modern bus production facilities in Europe. NEOPLAN buses have been produced here for more than 35 years. With the takeover of the plant from NEOPLAN Bus GmbH, a subsidiary of MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG, in April 2009, Joachim Reinmuth and Ernö Bartha, as managing shareholders of Viseon Bus GmbH, continued the tradition of bus manufacture in Pilsting.
