El Dorado National Inc. El Dorado Buses are manufactured by ElDorado National, which is a subsidiary of Thor Industries. El Dorado buses tend to be commercial vehicles and nearly half of all light and medium size commercial units are an El Dorado bus model. ElDorado National is known not so much for its chassis but its bus bodies. Many Fords sport the El Dorado transit bus body, particularly on minibuses. There are several El Dorado transit bus body type models available, including the Aerotech (cutaway), Amerivan (van conversion), Axess (full size bus with low floor), Escort (rear engine), Ez Rider (30 to 40 foot low floor, mid to full size), Transmark (29 to 33 foot mid to full size low floor), and XHF (heavy duty).
