Volvo B57 was a simple front-engined single-deck bus design built by Volvo between 1966 and 1983. It was equipped with the Volvo TD70-series engine.
Volvo B57 could be built in 4 different wheelbase lengths: 5 metres (B57-50), 5.5 metres (B57-55), 6 metres (B57-60) and 6.5 metres (B57-65).
This vehicle was rare in the UK, but very popular in particular in Third World countries. Singapore Bus Services introduced them in the 1980s, and upon their retirement were eventually sold to Ireland and New Zealand. (kilde: Wikipedia)
