The technical concept

Van Hool remains true to its successful understructure design. The independent front suspension with pneumatic disc brakes gives the T9 increased active safety. Van Hool offers an extensive range of environment-friendly Euro 3 engines so that the specific requirements of each customer can be complied with.

A maintenance-friendly design

As a part of Van Hool’s high standards, every coach undergoes thorough anti-corrosion treatment to ensure a long operational life. Modern corrosion-free materials are used to the maximum.

The driver and his environment

By means of the saloon climate control panel the driver can adjust the air conditioning, the ventilation and the heating. A display indicates the situation at each moment.
The driver’s cockpit has individual air conditioning operating independently from the passenger area. The windscreen demistic works on a separate heating circuit.
The optional driver’s door can be fitted with an electrically operated side window.
The large panoramic windscreen provides the driver and the courier with an excellent view.
The new ellipsoid headlights light up the road over a considerable distance and provide increased contrast.

Optimal saloon climatisation

Extreme care is taken to achieve optimal air distribution. The division into separately controlled circuits and the application of the latest control techniques guarantee very pleasant conditions inside the coach.
